2011 Cruise(Part II) to Haiti, Jamaica & Mexico on Oasis of the Seas

We returned to the ship and had a nice dinner touched off with delicious chocolate banana creme pie

Margaret and I peeked in at the Tony Hillman Show at the Opal Theatre.  This gave us a taste of what we could expect tomorrow night (when we had reservations).

Out in the lobby area we were greeted by friendly penguins.

At 9:30 pm we headed over to Studio B for 50's and 60's Rock and Roll Party.

DAY 5

We ate breakfast in the Opus Dinning Room and settled for a light lunch at the Windjammer. The variety of offerings allowed us to pick out just what we wanted.

The Aqua Theatre was our next destination. At 12:30 pm the Aqua Theatre featured swim suit trends fashion show. While we waited we could watch climbers scan the great walls on either side of us.

Then the fashion show began with suits that shocked the nation as they became usable in the water.

We stayed in our seats for the belly floppin' contest that followed.

The nearby ice cream parlor just could not be passed up.

Over by the merry-go-round was an exhibit that showed how the carved horses evolved out of
wood blocks.

For those brave enough to be doused with water they could seat themselves in the splash zone. I took
a seat in the first row beyond the danger area.

Then came our appointed 6pm seating dinner at the Opus Dinning Room. Note the large chandelier
overhead.

Margaret chose the lobster tail (below) while Fred settled for prime rib medium well done.

After dinner we aught the Summer Breeze Concert under the stars with the Oasis of the Seas Orchestra and Singers.

The evening was topped off with the Tillman Show. This artist had performed 15 years with Bill Cosby and was a personal friend of Sammy Davis Junior. He dedicated some material (with an impersonation) to Sammy Davis Junior.

When we returned to our room a turtle (or crab) was there waiting for us.

DAY6

Cozumel, Mexico
We looked over the port from the 16th deck. Fred had visited here many times and had sore feet, so Margaret went ashore solo.

Dinner that evening was graced with a delightful violin/piano duo.

Both Margaret and Fred ordered the pork loin dinner.

Pub music was sung along the Boardwalk. We felt sorry for the old-timer who had to compete with Green Bay Packer - Saints Football game playing on television, but he held his own.

Our closing event for the evening was Broadway LIVE: Cabaret Show with Edna and Tracy.

THE LAST DAY AT SEA

Today we decided to have lunch at the Park Cafe located in Central Park.

Then at 3:00 pm we watched the Come Fly With Me Production Show with aerial artistry, dance sequences and vocal performances. What a show!

For our last dinner in the Opus Dinning Room Margaret ordered two portions of schrimp for starters.
We both settled on the Turkey plate for the main course.

Farewell celebrations tied up Boardwalk.

At 8:45 pm the Oasis Orchestra Trio performed on Deck 4

Back in our room we were greeted by the Towel Monkey. Time nows to pack up and place our luggage outside the door. All good things must come to an end.
